Home of the Famous Point Pelee Marsh Boardwalk
Imagine a place where rare plants and species thrive.  Where the land is so rich it produces the most diverse range of crops in Canada.
A place where naturalists flock to witness the impressive migration of birds and butterflies.
A community where retirement living is at its best.  A place where breathtaking sunsets, secluded beaches, after supper sails and friendly faces are a way of life.  Imagine Leamington.
Point Pelee Marsh Boardwalk Offers Tranquil Peace and a Perfect Spot for Bird Watching
Leamington Sunset over Lake Erie

For a few special days each autumn, Point Pelee is a temporary home to thousands of migrating monarch butterflies.
Along established birding trails, Pelee birders gather for the annual "passerine play"  One of the greatest shows in birding.  From late April to early June, the curtain newer falls.  Spring foliage, the view-blocking bane of warbler-watchers elsewehre, is retarded by the cold water of the lake.  The birds have no place to hide.
